The zodiac & The Salts
Within the traditional Biochemic philosophy, the twelve mineral salts were viewed as part of a wider system connecting the physical body with individual constitutional patterns.
Later interpretations extended these ideas further, exploring symbolic relationships between the twelve salts, different areas of the body and the twelve signs of the zodiac.
THE BIOCHEMIC TRADITION
The twelve tissue salts have a fascinating history. Building on the Biochemic system developed by Dr Wilhelm Schüßler, later writers explored the system from different perspectives.
George W. Carey (1845–1924) became particularly known for exploring connections between the twelve mineral salts, the human body and the twelve signs of the zodiac. His writings form an intriguing chapter in the wider Biochemic tradition.
